(PRWEB) February 1, 2004 --Madison, Wisconsin-based MAD Typing and Consulting® announced today their "Grand Opening" of the Online Business Literature Library (OBLL). Publishers of online media like electronic magazines, electronic books and web logs or blogs" can list their information there. And, in turn, twenty-five percent of the proceeds from those listings will be donated to a charitable cause. This year they are helping the Mt. Zion United Methodist church in rural southwest Wisconsin raise money to build a much-needed (larger) building.
What better way to help than to build a library? As a seasoned administrative professional, writer and small-business owner, MADTCs owner, Melanie O'Kane, has seen a growing trend in how businesses keep in touch with their customers and prospects. The 21st century has opened up a whole new arena for effectively communicating about one's services or products. Web-based literature seems to be a popular method for accomplishing this.
The OBLL was created as a popular and safe way for publishers, authors and hosts to list their resource information for the business community to view and use. "Proceeds from sponsors not only help this library grow, but they also give much needed relief to charitable causes. We plan to continue this process for as long as we are able. What we really need now is for our local online media folks to dust off their diskettes and lend a hand to keep this cause alive."
