Bim sails succesfully in the backwaters at IIM K

BIM, one of the premier Indian Bschools located in Tiruchirappalli, sailed succesfully through the Backwaters at Indian Institute of management, Kozhikode and showcased their prowess in management skills against their peers in other bschools like IIM's.

(PRWEB) February 2, 2004 --Backwaters 2004 the annual management festival of Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode was a confluence of the best B-Schools in the country including the IIMs, NITIE, MDI etc. In the backdrop of the mystic Waynad region with breathtaking beauty, it was the battle of youth and the precise clarity of the mind of the modern manager.

The contingent from BIM was made of twelve determined souls comprising of students from both the first and second year. The contingent was out for a kill, hunting for prey in events comprising of stimulating management games like stock market simulation contests, strategy & marketing games and non-acad, zany informal things, which goes on through the day, for three days.

What great Hunters did they prove to be! The team emerged victorious by winning both first and second places in ?Gold of the Backwater Kings? ? the strategy game. The team also emerged as winners in ?PitBull? ? the stock market simulation game and grabbed the runners-up position in 4L ? IIMK?s very own Marketing strategy game.

At the end of the hunting trip it proved to be a three days of incredible learning experience and lots of fun as well. The overwhelming success of the BIM students proved beyond doubt that ?they are second to none, it only means that they work TWICE as hard, TWICE as smart?
