Las Vegas Videographers Association Expands the Range of Video Offerings to the Community as membership increases
Association members are able to offer clients the total of all their diverse capabilities. Each member is a resource to other members.
(PRWEB) February 2, 2004 --Formed almost a year ago, The Las Vegas Videographer's Association (www.lvva.com) has grown and proven an effective organization for providing individual members with capabilities, training and information they wouldn't have as individual businesses. Recent new members and alliances have further increased service offerings to Las Vegas clients.
Comprised of videographers and related service providers, members specialize in a diversity from high-end commercials, marketing, sales, convention converage, training, legal, website creation to graphics and weddings. Through the course of the year, if a client required a service not provided by an individual member or the member was unavailable, they were able to satisfy the client need with other members.
A recent meeting was held in the Media Underground studio, whose capabilities, including HD shooting and editing, are now included as part of the services individuals in the group can provide.
Richard DePaso, the president of the group, was very active in similar organizations in the NE. When he established a studio in Las Vegas (Aardvark Video, www.aardvarkvideo.tv), he was very surprised at how local videographers hadn't benefited from working as a group and formed the association patterned after successful associations throughout the country.
Most meetings are held at the New City Theatre on Patrick Lane between Eastern and Pecos near Sunset.
