Online Collaboration and the IBOB, Internet Battle Of The Bands, have come together and have been making major Headlines on the World Talk Radio Show. Online Artist Collaboration and IBOB, the Internet Battle Of The Bands, has wonderful news you should know about.

The "Music Talk" radio show brings together music-related Web sites now operating on the Internet with the intent of promoting Internet collaboration in general. The IBOB project is different from others because it's free for musician that cannot even afford the strings per say on their guitar. It covers every holiday of the year and you come together and collaborate and then you win a prize. Many radio stations have covered this event and many are coming on-board and want a piece of the action. Think how many years a student goes to school or how many books they read in comparison to the education and opportunity this offers them at their finger-tips and with the click of the mouse. There is so much more to this then I will go into here. For more information Abbey road has provided a couple of links.

(PRWEB) February 3, 2004 --Let me introduce myself. My name is Abbey Road. Abbey Road is a songwriter, music lover, pop rock artist, musician, online collaborator, whom has earned a name for himself by writing, recordingand distribution his music using the Internet.

Way back when then Internet first came online Abbey Road ran a web-site on Home Gown Music where music lover could find a community to be heard and speak their mind in regards to writing, performing, and playing music. Abbey earned the respect of some now big names such as Karen Boshart, http://www.karenboshart.com and others.

Many are listen on Abbey's current web-site. To make a long story short Internet collaboration became so popular that collaboration web-sites started to spring up all over the place and many service such as mp3.com and garageband.com opened up and offered artist a place to store, sell and showcase their talents and music to the world. Since this time many have come and gone and a few have managed to stay a float. The current wonderful recent news is two fold. First I must say there is such a thing as a talent vault and w believe it is not even close to being tapped.

In light of this there has been some awesome, astonishing development lately. The intent of the IBOB project is to bring together the collaboration sites from around the Internet to have artists contests for bragging rights and possible air time on the Music Talk Radio Show on World Talk Radio. We have had a very successful inaugural show and we are now moving ahead with the next couple of contests. Scott Mendelsohn, or you can refer to this guy as Sully The Sultan is co-host on Music Talk Radio. Scott joined forces with Mike Mazerick, a musician that made this possible. Mike did a lot of work and go many of the other online collaboration community's to come together and compete in the IBOB project.

The radio show has had some very reputable guest including Abbey Road and Rick Iantosca. Rick has produced people such as Kool & The Gang,
Aretha Franklin, Hall & Oats just to name a few.

He has fifty gold records to his name. You can verify this on allmusic.com Indie artists around the world combined with all the current events, which included none indie artist and groups have come together as one huge community and the way music is being written, recorded and distributed has evolved and bringing it together in this fashion has opened a new can of worms that unleashed the talent vault and opportunities to gain an education while having fun with music. Networking is the key word here. In summary I listed a few sites Abbey Road has worked with.

A little more background about Abbey Road.

Abbey Road has recorded and written songs with some of these collaboration service and their fine talented online musicians. Some of these songs have been feature on the front page of some repeatable web-sites such a rocketears-online.net and currently http://rockmessiah.com. Abbey has been a regular guest on The World Talk Radio http://www.worldtalkradio.com. We educate the listeners being the home end user about online-collaboration. At the same time we write, record and produce songs that then the worlds can hear and enjoy. it is important to mention that with TV show such as World Idle and Canadian Idle, in a huge way we are doing the same thing. The unique way we have adopted and come together has unlocked the doors and made it easy for people to get evolved and be part of this huge success that is unfolding as we speak.
