Consumer Protection News Alert. PH Development, AKA National Association of Computer Equipment Brokers under investigation by the FBI, FTTC, US Postal Inspector for MAJOR Internet, Postal, and Advertising Fraud

The FBI has been in contact with victims of pcequipmentbroker aka Appliance Repair Schools, aka PHDI to gather information in a Criminal Investigation that is ongoing. Local LA CA Consumer Watchdog Reporters are also on the case and have contacted me for interviews

(PRWEB) February 4, 2004 --During the times of the great depression many people fell for scams from tricksters trying to make a quick buck. The people taken by these tricksters were usually the people that didnt have the money to loose. Recently in our current recession we have seen a lot of get rich quick schemes pop up in the form of home business, envelope stuffing etc.

You would think that these poor souls that are pilfered their much needed and hard earned money are a little dim witted and deserve this lesson they cant afford to pay for. Surprisingly a new scam has gone on for some years now. This scam has blatantly taken the literate and technically savvy. They are the people that are embarrassed for falling for such a scheme so they dont report it, until now.

There is a company that has been feeding on the hopes of prosperity of thousands of technical people both displaced by the wave of out sourcing of jobs to India and small computer support companies trying to strengthen their bottom line.

The company is based in Tarzana, California and is known as Appliance Repair School, PH Development Inc., and the National Association of Computer Equipment Brokers. They sell packages that promise very large profit margins with very little investment. Of course you have to pay them $500.00 to get started and they promise your own OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) name brand of computer line. Once you receive their outdated and incomplete kit they then pressure you to buy more services. The LA Police are now investigating their CEO and the rest of the company. Yet they still are receiving checks from unsuspecting companies and individuals daily.

You may recognize my name as the person that has brought the out sourcing of US jobs to India to light. I have been quoted in many publications and technical sites. I have a new story for you to follow up on as it is relative to your area. There is a company whose CEO is based in the UK that is defrauding THOUSANDS of US and Canadian citizens. Below is a copy of the letter that was sent to the FBI Internet Fraud Unit, US Postal Inspector, California Attorney General, Las Angeles Police Department and a few other agencies.

Serious Internet/US Mail Fraud Case;

This company didn't send me the complete package I ordered and when
I contacted them to inquire they cussed me out on the phone. They also refuse to honor their 30 day "Super Safe" money back guarantee.

Their phone is a cell phone and if you try to find this factory or school that they claim they have it cannot be found. The address they have you send the money to is a mailboxes etc. One of their victims even called them and told them they need to quit doing business with pcequipmentbrokers.com because they are scamming people. They are known as Appliance Repair Schools, PH Development Inc, and the National Association of Computer Equipment Brokers.

This is internet and US Postal fraud! There are thousands of victims across the US and Canada that are willing to enter in a lawsuit against them if we can find them. There is an internet forum just started that is bringing the victims together. They are taking people for a minimum of $500 per pop. This company has gotten away with this for a long time now. They were in Nevada, where there is a paper trail of them getting in trouble there as well. They may just be changing names and locations until they get caught.
