Multi platinum singer/songwriter Rick Springfield set to release "shock/denial/anger/acceptance", all new music, on February 24, 2004.
Rick Springfield, the Grammy and American Music Award winning musician is set to release his latest CD, shock/denial/anger/acceptance." Seventeen tracks will showcase the four emotions contained within the title. Rick has stated that shock/denial/anger/acceptance" is among his most personal writings. His first release of original music in years, the CD is due in stores on 2/24/04.

Rick has included a masterful reworking of the song Ill Make You Happy," a tune from Ricks own childhood, along with the angry Idontwantanythingfromyou," (the ultimate breakup, get out of my life, song) the haunting Angels of the Disappeared" (inspired by Elizabeth Smarts disappearance) and the hard rocking first single, Will I?" Springfield completed a highly successful run in Las Vegas EFX Alive in December 2002. He starred in the Las Vegas spectacular musical for nearly two years of sold out shows at the MGM Grands EFX Theater. MGM reworked the show when he took the role to incorporate his rock and roll style; two original songs were written by Springfield to add his own footprint to the musical show. Upon completion of the show, Springfield headed into the studio to begin work on shock/denial/anger/acceptance."
