(PRWEB) February 5, 2004 --The Gypsy Players and the Grand Vista Hotel are presenting unique dinner entertainment in Ventura County. This is the only place in Ventura County (unless you book a private party) that you can participate in an interactive murder mystery dinner theatre event.
This is not your everyday dinner theatre fare - dinner, then watch the show. During an interactive show the action takes place all around you - an actor may be seated at your table, you may be a suspect and everyone has the opportunity to solve the crime, with the sleuth coming closest receiving a prize at the end of the evening.
The fun starts the minute you are escorted to your table and continues while you have an opportunity to bribe suspects and then attempt -to solve the crime. It's non-stop comedy and action presented by some of the finest actors in Ventura County. All this and more while enjoying a delicious gourmet dinner prepared at The Grand Vista Hotel.
The Gypsy Players are currently presenting a comedy murder mystery spoof, The Last Cruise of the S.S. Minnow, written especially for the Gypsy Players by local playwright, John Logue. Just sit right back while we tell a tale... this hilarious show will bring back some old memories and creates some new ones as you try to unravel the mystery while you enjoy a delicious dinner an elegant, relaxed atmosphere!
Join the Gypsy Players at Dakota's in March and April for The Last Cruise of the S. S. Minnow. This dinner event takes place every Thursday evening, March 18 - April 22 and at a special brunch performance on March 21.
All performances are held at The Grand Vista Hotel, 999 Enchanted Way,Simi Valley -- just north of the 118 and First St exit..
The $45 ticket prices include dinner, dessert, beverage, the show and wait staff gratuity. Reservations are required. Shows begin at 7pm and run approx. 2 1/2 hours.
