118tracker.com January report details the developments in the UK Directory Enquiries Sector.

(PRWEB) February 8, 2004 --118tracker.com has released Januarys results. An amazing 90% of providers have scored more than 60% for accuracy this month. Considering only six months ago many research results were shoing accuracy figures of less than 40%.

These results follow the impressive December results which showed a trend of improving performance from all providers.

With more than one hundred 118*** Numbers now available, the need for these companies to provide accurate information is essential for their survival.

The results this month show that of the 118 services costing less than 30 pence to obtain a number six scored 80% for accuracy.

91% of all service providers achieved 60% or above for accuracy which is excellent news for the industry as a whole.

In other news this month;

118-GLD 118453 has become the first 118DQ provider to lower its costs.

Following 1188888 and 118800's recent price hike it is refreshing to see a provider looking to benefit the consumer with cheaper services.

The service will now only cost 40pence per minute compared to the previous 20p connection plus 40 pence per minute.
