Ski and Bike Trail Sign Maker Suffers Short-term Web Outage

The web site of Front Row Novelties (www.mytrailsign.com) was out of commission for approximately 12 hours beginning Febrary 5, 2004.

(PRWEB) February 8, 2004 --Front Row Novelties proprietor Paul Fiarkoski noticed things were not right with his company's web site on the eve of Thursday, February 5, 2004 when he went on line to check traffic stats. After punching in the company's URL address (www.mytrailsign.com) the screen came up blank.

Fiarkoski attributes the outage to a domain registry snafu. "A few months ago I renewed the registration of our domain after getting an e-mail prompt from the Domain Registry Of America. Little did I know they were going to do nothing more than take my money."

Once the outage was noticed, Fiarkoski contacted his web host, AIS Media of Atlanta, GA, who promptly remedied the situation and had the site up and running again in less than an hour.

"I'll never make that mistake again," Fiarkoski proclaimed. "It couldn't have happened at a worse time, since we just received great publicity in the Boulder Daily Camera. Site visits had more than doubled in recent days."

MYTRAILSIGN.COM is a year-old site which caters to skiers and snowboarders. Site visitors can purchase personalized trail signs and other novelty signs of appeal to the snowsports market.
