Brenna Lyons' Stunning First Year

From struggling writer to solid gold in a year. How the tables have turned!

(PRWEB) February 10, 2004 --In February of 2003, Brenna Lyons was biting her nails. A novella and a novel, the first two installments in her Kegin series were released back to back. She was through with edits on two more novels, and she had two small press publishers. That was just the beginning.

By February of this year, she had an unbelievable three novels, four novellas, and eight short stories published. Some might say that was a great first year, but she's not slowing down anytime soon.

Now with a total of six publishers, Brenna has signed a total of another eleven short stories, seventeen novels and one more novella for publication in the next two years. With a total of seven series running at the moment, there is a lot going on in the Brenna Lyons' universe: everything from science fantasy to fantasy, paranormal to horror, the rare contemporary to historical, and from non-sexual to erotic. There is very little that Brenna doesn't write.

Reception has been good. Brenna took home a total of seven top ten listings in the P&E polling. She tied for eXtasy Books' author of the year in the Fallen Angels Reader's Choice Award. Her fourth Kegin series book, FION'S DAUGHTER, is a finalist in the EPPIES, the small press/e-publishing version of the OSCARS. Her very first novel, PROPHECY: REVELATIONS, has finaled for the Treble Heart Award and is a Road To Romance Reviewer's Choice Award winner. Her short mythological story, BLACK SAIL is a Love Romances Reviewer's Choice Award winner. And there are still more awards to be decided this year. Add to that a whole slew of great reviews on her many books, and you can see that it's been a very good year for Brenna.

Where will it end? Brenna hopes it will end with a long, long life of publishing. "The muse isn't tapped yet. There are still a lot of stories waiting to be written, and I hope I never see the bottom of the barrel when it comes to ideas."
