(PRWEB) February 11, 2004 --Stunning actress and filmaker Anna Wilding slipped quietly to New Zealand from Hollywood recently following an unspecified viral illness where she was hospitalised at Cedars Sinai for a couple of days.A source close to Anna say she is fine and bouncing back...and in the meantime enjoying some fresh air and also working on an exhibition for a British museum on four times Wimbledon tennis champion Captain Anthony Wilding (who dated several "Hollywood silent screen stars" www.geocities.com/wildingtennis/)
Known as a bit of a pioneer(especially for women) in much of what she does, Wilding was CEO of the hip film company Moving Horse Productions in London the late 1990's when still in her twenties.
Not bad for a kiwi chick. Recently she starred on E!TV and E!Style networks in the USA,with celebrity photographer,N.Prommer -a special segment starring Anna called " celebrity red carpet makeover". Anna was also seen in January this year in a TV pilot for Paramount TV,and recently completed teaching kids of the homeless basic theatre skils on skid row for a non profit organisation.(She also shot a Rod Stewart video for his Christmas Album in late last year.)
In November 2003 Anna completed the co editing of the book Paths to Freedom by Alexis Powers and it is understood that Anna has a couple of film projects in development.
Anna has also been in talks for Reese Witherspoons "untitled tennis movie" for the past couple of years.Pic has now moved to Sony Studio. It is understood Anna has family in New Zealand and will be researching one of her film projects there.
Anna was born in New Zeland but has spent the past several year since inLos Angeles and London.
She won her first international theatre award at the age of 17. A favourite with some media and photographers in Los Angeles for her great smiley and sporty intellgent nature, she is presently attached to a couple of feature films in starring roles. Three years ago Anna spoke out about the treatment of riders and horse on Lord of the Rings. Her extensive work is credited with raising an awarenes of animal welfare in New Zealand and also in Hollywood. Two of the three films received questionable ratings in their treamtent of horses.
