Center for Spiritual Living presents "Ready for a Miracle" an exceptional and distinctive Concert, featuring Erin McGaughan, Marco Cassone and the CSL Choir of Light on Saturday, February 28th
Center for Spiritual Living (CSL) announces the must see concert of Winter. "READY FOR A MIRACLE" promises to be a rich banquet of musical delights with a repertoire spanning 800 years, from Gregorian Chant, to Baroque, jazz and contemporary gospel. The concert begins at 7:30pm on Saturday, February 28th, 2004 at Center for Spiritual Living, 5801 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Seattle, WA (PRWEB) February 11, 2004 --Local vocal Diva Erin McGaughan and Marco Cassone, founding member of the a cappella group M-pact join with CSLs Choir of Light to perform compositions by Hildegaard Von Bingen, solo selections by G.F. Handel and motets by Tomas Luis de Victoria, as well as jazz standards. Additional highlights include original compositions by Erin McGaughan and Marco Cassone, and contemporary gospel hits, including "O, Happy Day" and "Are you ready for a miracle?", the hit song from Steve Martin's film 'Leap of Faith".
Erin McGaughan is known to Seattle audiences for her lead musical comedy appearances in Alice B. Theatre's "Holiday Survival Game Show" and "Grease", as well as productions at Rebar and Annex Theater.
Marco Cassone is a founding member of the 5 voice a cappella group M-pact, winners of the 1995 National A Cappella Competition and voted one of Rolling Stone's "Best Unsigned Bands" of 2003.
The CSL Choir of Light has been featured at Intiman's "Black Nativity", the NW Folklife Festival, the Aloha Theater in Kona, Hawaii and the 2002 "Juneteenth Celebration" at Seattle Center.
