SWING InOffice 2.1 Provides Printing and Reporting for Lotus Notes Group Calendar

SWING InOffice 2.1 adds Group Calendar printing and reporting capabilities, and improved MS Office integration and PDF conversion for Lotus Notes.

(PRWEB) February 11, 2004 -- SWING Software announced today the release of SWING InOffice 2.1, the latest version of software that integrates Microsoft Office and PDF with Lotus Notes. The new version adds Notes Group Calendar printing and reporting capabilities, PowerPoint to PDF conversion, and improved PDF protection and distribution.

SWING InOffice 2.1 adds Group Calendar templates to its rich set of preconfigured MS Office templates for Lotus Notes databases. Using these templates, InOffice collects shared calendar data from specified team members, and shows them in a single consolidated view in Excel. In addition, the InOffice templates enable further time and activity analysis, taking advantage of Excel PivotTables, reports, and charts.

SWING InOffice provides advanced formatting, reporting and printing from any existing Notes database, using familiar Microsoft Office tools. Lotus Notes users effortlessly create personalized letters, labels, proposals, quotes, orders, contracts, and other Office documents that incorporate Notes data. With Excel, they can produce both ad-hoc and automated predefined reports and charts. The resulting documents and reports can be distributed in the form of printed documents, faxes, or emails - either in the native format or as PDF documents.

By maintaining a centrally managed template database, organizations can easily enforce consistency of all business forms and documents. In this way, authorized business users are allowed to customize document templates, and report templates, without burden on IT staff.

SWING InOffice is completely based on a point-and-click configuration, eliminating any programmer intervention. Moreover, it works with any database, without any changes being required to the existing databases.

The product includes a built-in PDF converter, allowing all Notes users to create and send documents as PDFs removing the need for an additional PDF tool.

The key features include:
- Create Office documents with Notes data
- Report, chart, and analyze Notes data from single or multiple databases
- Create mail merge and labels using Notes Address Book or other database
- Send documents and reports as PDFs
- Store Office documents and reports into Notes databases
- Import documents and spreadsheets (e.g. expense reports) into Notes databases
- Centrally managed template library

SWING InOffice 2.1 supports Lotus Notes versions 5 and 6, and Microsoft Office 97, 2000, XP and 2003.
