(PRWEB) February 16, 2004 --Attendees will have the opportunity to build their network and their networking skills at The Second Great Chicago Networking Extravaganza from 5:30 -- 8:30 pm, March 10, 2004 at the Mid-America Club, 200 E. Randolph, 80th Floor, Chicago.
Highlights include icebreakers and other networking activities, a panel discussion on how to survive and build quality relationships in the corporate environment, open networking and exhibits.
The event is being hosted by Lillian D. Bjorseth, president, Duoforce Enterprises, Inc., Lisle; and Alec Ross, principal, ConnectWorking, Chicago. Both are relationship skills trainers, speakers and consultants. Ross also sponsors an online community.
Bjorseths published products in the field include Breakthrough Networking: Building Relationships That Last (second edition), 52 Ways to Break the Ice & Target Your Market and the Nothing Happens Until We Communicate audiotape/workbook series. Shes contributing author to Masters of Networking.
Panel members are Katherine Gehl, vice president, Bernstein Investment Research and Management and former special assistant to Mayor Richard Daley; Robert Sheesley, director, CNA Insurance, who has also held leadership positions at Accenture, EDS, marchFIRST, and the US Marine Corp: Alec, who became skilled at networking as an entrepreneur and small business owner, and Lillian who learned the difference between politicking and networking firsthand while doing public relations support for a top A&T executive and as the owner of two small businesses.
