Cross-dresser offers agony and advice service
A South African cross-dresser has launched an online agony and advice column targeting women seeking advice from a guy sitting literally on the gender-divide.
Cape Town, South Africa (PRWEB) February 14, 2004 -- Cross-dresser Jill Devine has decided to offer a free online agony and advice column from the beginning of 2004. The service was introduced for anyone struggling to overcome life challenges. As a psychology graduate, the gender-bending (and married) Jill Devine overcame several challenges of his own - resulting in a motivational book and now an agony and advice service.
Jill Devine is not your average woman - for one, she is a he. For another, she is a husband and father. Overcoming such contradiction and challenge initially lead to Jill Devine publishing a motivational book back in 2003. Not content to leave his message of breaking barriers between the pages of the book, Armour Plated, Jill Devine decided to extend the message of hope through to the web. And at no cost.
Jills online website recently launched the Devine Time" agony and advice column. Devine Time is just that: a free service that offers readers a tongue-in-cheek viewpoint on ones daily struggles and challenges. Jill is either modest or devilish when saying, Follow my advice at your own peril." One could take that as a legal disclaimer.
Requests for advice seem to flow from women wanting a viewpoint and opinion from a man sitting somewhere between the gender-divide, and Jill Devine does that without missing a step - heels and all.
Jill Devine, through the Devine Time service, is making a positive contribution to the global village from the southern tip of Africa, with sound advice, a sharp tongue and an often wicked sense of humor.
