I envision this site as a one-stop shop for anyone who needs tips for improving business, as well as a referral source for people looking to find another person in an area that perhaps they dont have a reliable reference for. On top of that, it will also be a place where people can go to find out where local races are and where local athletes are congregating for their favorite sport."

Key pages on the site currently feature background on the 26.2 Business Network, information on how to join, frequently asked questions, a list of upcoming events, and links to athletic-related organizations. Future plans for the site include adding a profile page for members as well as an online directory and message board.

The new site was designed by Michelle Church of Fort Collins, Colo.-based ChurchMouse Media Inc., a multimedia production company specializing in video production and Web development. Previous design projects have included Web sites for Follow Me Home Tours, Chicks Harley-Davidson/Buell, Santa Fe Harley-Davidson, High Country Harley-Davidson/Buell and High Country Buell.

The 26.2 Business Network will hold its next networking get-together on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, at George & Dragon Restaurant in Phoenix. The event will include a presentation by Edward Jones financial advisor Cara Moss, who will speak on the topic of smart investments. A meal will be available for purchase; menu options are limited.

The 26.2 Business Network (www.262businessnetwork.com) was launched in July 2003 by real estate consultant Lois Tiedemann as a way to connect fitness-oriented business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals.
