Hip Hop Film Fest hits Atlanta Feb 20 - 26 2004
Atlanta will be the site of the Hip Hop Film Fest February 20-26 2004. The non profit traveling cinematic showcase is organized by indie filmmakers as a showcase of unique Hip Hop related flix.

Approx 50 screening times of films featuring artists like Too Short, Tupac, OutKast, Goapele, Chuck D, Snoop Dogg & many more known & unknown. Live at the event, there will be several performances by local Hip Hop hopefuls including Saleem, Booyowski and many more .

The Hip Hop Film Fest is a unique indie cultural event that has been created by filmmakers themselves. The programming goes beyond the "bling bling" and "bang bang" of mainstream corporate videos & explores the many realms and roots of Hip Hop. Films shatter stereotypes, and highlight the growing influence of Hip Hop art, dance & beats on global culture.
Numerous flix will screen during ATL's 7 full days of screenings at GSU's CineFest Theater including "Resistencia: Hip-Hop in Colombia", "Hooked", "Soundz of Spirit",Hip-Hop Resurrection: From NY to NZ","Aftermath : 9-11", "Hip Hop Immortals", and many more .
The directors of several films including "Straight Outta Hunters Point" , "Cubamor", "Bella" and "Stuntin'" will hold post film Q & A.
