Health At Your Fingertips: Workshop Good Health: As Close As Your Fingertips
A one hour workshop to help people get ready for Spring
(PRWEB) February 15, 2004 --Health educator Deborah Myers, JSJ, AMT, of Santa Rosa is presenting Good Health: As Close As Your Fingertips, a free one-hour educational workshop, 7-8 pm, Tuesday, March 30 in the community room of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Santa Rosa.
Myers, a member of the Integrative Health and Healing Services of Sutter Health Center, will introduce participants to self-help techniques, including acupressure and Jin Shin Jyutsu to help reduce stress, relieve pain, and promote healing.
Jin Shin Jyutsu, an ancient Japanese form of healing, is a form of acupressure that anyone can use to help the body release tension and pain by balancing the energy flow and replenishing mental, emotional, and physical energies," said Myers, founder and director of Health At Your Fingertips, a health and wellness organization that provides individual and group consultations across the country.
Myers is a Certified Acupressurist and Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner and is a licensed continuing education provider for California Board of Registered Nursing. She graduated from the Acupressure Institute, Berkeley, CA, and holds a BA degree from Simpson College, Iowa.
Information packets will also be available at this informal gathering. For more information, call 707-546-5692 or visit www.healthatyourfingertips.com.
