Celebrating Spring with the Junior League of Wilmington's Heart of the Home Kitchen Tour

A Taste of Delaware’s Most Delicious Kitchens from the Junior League of Wilmington

Wilmington, DE (PRWEB) February 17, 2004 --The Junior League of Wilmington will hold the 1st annual Heart of the Home Kitchen Tour on April 3, 2004 from 9:30 am –4:30 pm. The designer kitchen tour will showcase 19 of the area’s finest kitchens with unique features and designs, showing off some of the area’s best design talent.

“For many homeowners, the kitchen has become the heart of the home”, says Jena Baffone, Junior League of Wilmington Kitchen Tour Chair. “The Junior League Kitchen Tour is reflective of the what is happening in the market; homeowners are renovating and remodeling their kitchens to reflect their lifestyles and passions.”

With a team of design professionals, all kitchens were carefully evaluated using a range of criteria. It is important to note that all kitchens on the design tour (with the exception of one) were selected specifically because they are renovations and remodels. Renovation was a key factor in the selection process for this kitchen design tour.

“Nineteen homeowners have graciously opened up their kitchens for the Junior League of Wilmington and nine kitchen designers have donated their knowledge, time and energy to help coordinate the efforts of this fundraiser,” said Kate Cowperthwait, Junior League of Wilmington President. With kitchens that are meant to inspire, the Heart of the Home Kitchen Tour promises to ignite the imaginations of all who attend.
