The Passion Of The Christ and The Unveiling Of The Trinity

Christianity has suffered some major setbacks in recent month. Nevertheless, it scores major victories with Mel Gibson's new movie and Tom Bosse's new book.

(PRWEB) February 17, 2004 -- February 18, 2004--Of all religions, Christianity ranks as the world's largest with over 2 billion members. In recent month and years its image has been tarnished by scandals, abuse and mockery. Its most important doctrine, the Trinity, was labeled a mystery immediately after it was documented in 325AD.

The mystery of the Trinity alone caused confusion and division within Christianity. It also caused debates about its validity among other world religions.

In the late 1980's, certain televangelist shocked the world and fell away from the faith that they diligently endorsed. For years, vile predators used the Catholic priesthood as an open door to achieve their corrupt agenda. In recent decades, TV sitcoms and late night talk show hosts ridiculed and mocked various ministries and even Christ Himself, while their audiences laughed.

Truly, Christianity has suffered some major setbacks at a time when we are seeing recent advances in other world religions such as Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam.

Despite how bad things look for Christianity now, things are looking up and God must be looking down. Two fascinating happenings have developed at this time for Christianity.

The first event occurred with the release of a book written by Tom Bosse entitled, THE UNVEILING OF THE TRINITY (Tuvott Publishing). This book eliminates the mystery associated with the Trinity and reveals the answer that escaped mankind for nearly 1700 years.

The second development regards the new Mel Gibson movie, THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST. At a recent VIP preview of the movie in Washington, DC, it was reported that guest were jovial and greeting one another before the movie began. However, after the movie was over, there was scarcely a dry eye in the house. This generates hope that many will see this movie and realize the need for repentance in their life.

Both of these accomplishments represent huge gains for Christianity because they regard the founder of Christianity, Jesus Christ. One reveals that Jesus is, without a doubt, God in the flesh. The other shows what He went through to demonstrate His love for humanity. Those two communications of expression compliment each other in understanding who Jesus Christ is and His purpose in the Godhead.

The connection of the book and the movie arriving together at this time in history is overwhelming to say the least. What does this mean for Christianity as a religion? Among many things, it validates that Jesus is the only way to God the Father. Also, it paves a way to prove by means of the born-again experience that Christianity is either the one true religion or it is a false religion. This important and unique reality sets Christianity apart from other religions because no other religion can prove itself.

Certainly Christianity has reason for excitement and anticipation. The possible impact from the book and movie could spark a revival unsurpassed in the history of Christendom. Many believe it could usher in the beginning of the time the apostle Peter spoke of from the book of Joel verse 2:28. "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh..."
