Vertex Standard USA's Land Mobile Division continues its rollout of exciting new products with the introduction of the VXR-9000 series 50 Watt Rack Mount FM Repeaters.

As with all Vertex Standard products, the VXR-9000 is built tough and provides superior receiver performance. This slim-line repeater is designed to operate in the most difficult RF environments. It offers outstanding selectivity, spurious and image rejection as well as intermodulation rejection to ensure reliable service during peak spectrum congestion times.

The VXR-9000 has an outstanding list of performance features. This new repeater offers 50 Watts of power output in its standard configuration. Its versatile configuration includes a built-in Audio Companding System that insures full-sounding audio regardless of transmission bandwidth restrictions. A large-diameter cooling fan is thermostatically controlled, ensuring a stable temperature environment.

The unit may be programmed with up to 32 channels over a wide frequency range, in either VHF or UHF, and may be operated either in a repeater or base station mode. Six dual-function programmable keys have been placed on the front panel of the VXR-9000 to make user operation friendly and flexible.
