Most companies that provide small group vacations for women are either outward-bound type adventure tours, stay-in-one-place retreats, or shopping and sightseeing tours. Theresa Gabriel of Columbus, Nebraska is doing something different. Shes mixed together eight women, hiking, resting, discussing, and personal coaching, following Christian values, and came up with 'travel retreats' to some of the worlds most beautiful places.

Gabriel has been hiking for 25 years in Wyoming, Nebraska, Arizona, Germany and Austria. "Hiking, not climbing!" She clarifies, "Our lives are outward-bound enough."
She has received a Certificate in Pastoral Ministry from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, a BSBA at the University of Nebraska of Omaha and is a CPA. She is presently involved in a personal coaching certification program through The Coaches Training Institute. She is a member of the International Coach Federation.
