Global Triad, Inc. to acquire Florida-based telecommunications company.

Global Triad, Inc. has reached an agreement in principle to acquire a privately held Florida-based telecommunications firm that serves nine southeastern U.S. states and six Latin-American countries. Preliminary negotiations were concluded this week. A definitive agreement is expected within the next two weeks. The acquisition is targeted to close before the end of the first quarter of this year.

MIAMI, FL (PRWEB) February 21, 2004 --Global Triad, Inc. has reached an agreement in principle to acquire a privately held Florida-based telecommunications firm that serves nine southeastern U.S. states and six Latin-American countries. Preliminary negotiations were concluded this week. A definitive agreement is expected within the next two weeks. The acquisition is targeted to close before the end of the first quarter of this year.

This acquisition will add the voice component of our digital communications triple play," said Michael J. Schweitzer, Global Triad CEO and Chairman. The newest member of our operating group will provide backbone communications services to our other subsidiary, Global TV, while being accretive to Global Triad in this fiscal year," Schweitzer added.

Global Triad is a holding company specializing in digital communications. It provides broadband voice, data and video services worldwide. The company owns and operates Global TV, which provides broadband wireless Internet services to hotels, resorts and office buildings worldwide. Global TV operates international Web sites in 43 languages and is testing wireless video-on demand in Miami.   

This newest acquisition will join Global TV, Inc. as a wholly owned subsidiary of Global Triad, Inc., which trades on the OTC Pink Sheets under the symbol SDWI.
