After the success of last years talent hunt, the competition in its second edition is already witnessing vigorous activity with over 300 entries from across the country competing for top honours, an enthusiastic 50% increase in participation since last year.

Designer Hunt 2004 is organised by ITEAM Events with the support of crème de la crème institutes such as NIFT, Wigan and Leigh, Arena Multimedia, Adroit, Nirmala Niketan, JD and 40 other such institutes participating from across the country. The event is aimed at providing a platform for the industry to interact with its future stars and provide the numerous budding designers with an opportunity to prove their mettle and bridge the gap thrown open by numerous institutes providing fashion courses on one hand, and the scarce opportunities at the disposal of these fresh fashion graduates on the other.

The only competition of its kind, Designer Hunt 2004 boasts of an extravaganza of talent who will lead Indian fashion into the future.

The Designer Hunt team has placed over 30 talented designers from last years event with top design houses in India. This year too, a host of design houses would be present at the hunt scouting for fresh whiffs of talent.

The event to be held in June 2004 at a leading 5 Star Hotel will have established names from the Model fraternity like Gauhar Khan, Deepti Gujral, Candice Pinto, Alesia Raut, Kavita Kharayat, subject to their availability, blazing the ramp.

In gratitude of their immense contribution, Designer Hunt 2004 aims at honouring the various fashion institutes, which have served as pillars to the industry and have consistently groomed raw talent into competent designers. The fashion show, to be choreographed by the reputed fashion choreographer Shakir Shaikh promises to be a grand affair on the lines of international shows.

The Event will have reputed names from the fashion world on the jury. The organizers also look forward to the overwhelming support from Corporates, institutes and the fashion industry at large, as was witnessed last year.
