Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) February 22, 2004 ---The More Life Ahead Foundation (MLA) a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax exempt charity, whose primary goal is to improve the quality of life for youth and preservation of the family, announced today the launch of their website: www.morelifeahead.com.

The foundations president, Ms. Shirley Maxwell, M.S.W. notes, The message of the foundation is simple; improve the quality of life for youth and preservation of the family." The More Life Ahead Campaign is a unique national project designed to use the healing affects of the performing arts to promote social awareness and solutions to: gun related deaths among the nations youth, as well as the decline in family values, and to inspire students to strive for and achieve academic excellence.

Founded in 1996 by Eric Robinson, the MLA Foundation became operational in 2001 after years of research and planning. Even though the foundation is bringing consciousness to the second leading cause of death among children in the USA (No.1 regarding African American youth), it is not a political forum or an anti-gun platform. Instead the foundation will promote and launch a nationwide educational tour, promoting literacy, academic excellence, and positive citizenry. The foundation will also promote a number of fundraising concerts, with the support of a broad section of luminaries from the recording, film, television, sports and fashion industries.

A number of artist/bands currently endorse the foundation, they include: Al Jarreau, TKeyah Crystal Keymah, Annie Minogue, Cee Cee Michaela, Jose Jose, Walter Trout, Mixon Brothers A.K.A, Herculeez and Big Tyme, Chris Thompson, Mariana G, Neon Venus, Rickey Grundy (RGII), Paulette Maxwell and Quindon to name a few. The website is interactive with artist profiles and videos together with in-depth news, information, facts & figures, with a merchandise section of apparel and accessories featuring the foundations logo.

The More Life Ahead Foundation is actively seeking sponsors, corporate and personal donations in order to facilitate its objectives and mission. Recent sponsors include; the Altria Group, Kodak Theatre, Urban Network Magazine, Metropolis Los Angeles newspaper and, ACM PR. For additional information visit the website: www.morelifeahead.com or write the foundation at 433 North Camden Drive, Suite 600 Beverly Hills, CA 90210.
