Homeschooling Today® magazine Launches New Christian Family Magazine

Family Reformation magazine launches in June, based on significant initial subscriber base from two popular Christian periodicals. This quarterly periodical will offer solid biblical answers for the issues facing today's Christian family.

Houston, TX (PRWEB) February 22, 2004 --The management of Homeschooling Today ® magazine announced this morning the launch of Family Reformation magazine, a quarterly periodical offering solid biblical answers for the issues facing today's Christian family. Not just another light and fluffy snack with tidbits and bandages from trendy pop culture, Family Reformation magazine will challenge readers to discover the reality and power found in God's prescription for all aspects of family interaction.

"Across the globe, parents are crying out for genuine biblical tools that will help them raise godly children in the midst of a post-Christian culture,"" comments James McDonald, publisher of Homeschooling Today and Family Reformation magazines. "Although many modern bookstores are full of ''self help' books, families are still falling apart. Our prayer is that God will use Family Reformation magazine to give hope to those eager to live, learn, and worship Him as a family.""

Stacy McDonald, wife of James McDonald, homeschooling mother, and editor-in-chief of both magazines, describes her family's desire to see biblical order lived out in families: "Our departments will include something for every member of any Christian family-with a focus on family unity, order, and edification.""

Regular features in Family Reformation magazine will include support and direction for husbands leading their families; guidance for wives; child training that focuses especially on heart issues; practical suggestions for homemaking; inspiration and ideas for family togetherness; help for single parents; godly counsel from older couples who have raised their children successfully; articles to encourage young adults; special advice for large families; book reviews; and simple, affordable recipes for nourishing the family.

To help achieve a successful launch, Family Reformation magazine has acquired a significant initial subscriber base from Quit You Like Men and Joyfull Noise magazines. All remaining subscriptions from these two periodicals will be fulfilled by the new Family Reformation magazine.

"Family Reformation magazine shares Quit You Like Men's vision for godly male leadership and a biblical approach to the concerns of Christian families,"" comments Robert Green, former editor and publisher of Quit You Like Men . "We are in good hands.""

"The McDonalds not only understand the needs of the average Christian family, but-having nine children themselves-they also recognize the unique needs of the large family,"" adds Paul Dunham, former publisher of Joyfull Noise . "We are certain that Family Reformation magazine will prove to be a blessing to our former subscribers.""

The first issue of Family Reformation magazine is expected to be available at newsstands by June 1, 2004 . The newsstand price of this new resource will be $5.95 per issue with an annual subscription price of $17.95 per year. During the interim before the first issue is launched, the magazine will be available for a special charter subscription price of $10.95.
