Keyline Licensing Brings The Corporate Circus" To Toy Fair; 5-Star Rated Book Led To Licensing

"The Corporate Circus" hit the big time at the big show as Keyline Licensing previewed the most creative and only satiric property about corporate life to select potential licensees at New York's Toy Fair.

New York (PRWEB) February 22, 2004 --The Corporate Circus is coming to the big show, being shown to select potential licensees at the International Toy Fair, providing a big top forum for Keyline Licensing to introduce the most creative and only satiric property about corporate life.

With the success of NBCs hit, 'The Apprentice, and BBC Americas sleeper Golden Globe winner, 'The Office, bringing business entertainment mainstream in TV, 'The Corporate Circus is doing the same in publishing and licensing," said Sariah Smalley, President of London-based Keyline Licensing Ltd., which oversees The Corporate Circus licensing in the U.K. and Europe.

Adela JP's book of the same name, which received a prestigious five star rating in an Amazon.com book review, takes a satiric look at corporate politics and office drama through an entertaining range of characters from the Ringmaster CEO, Marketing Director Lion and Sales VP Bull to a Gossiping Rat and quietly powerful and sophisticated Cat Secretary.

"The Corporate Circus takes a satiric look at the all-too-familiar types of workers encountered in the business world, and is written in flowing dialogue set in a world where typical co-workers morph into appealingly amusing animal-like characters," says Adela JP (Adela Josue Polin), who wrote the book and created the entertainment and licensing properties of the same name.

Michael R. Polin, Esq., who heads International Licensing and Business Development at The Corporate Circus, said, We expect The Corporate Circus to become an animated TV show, launch many new products in addition to its successful plush line and make significant inroads in the licensed and promotional product sectors."

Amazon.com internationally reported its top honors for the book, quoting the famed Midwest Book Review that:

The Corporate Circus by Adela JP offers the reader a genuinely fantastic interplay of office politics and an original 'tongue-in-cheek satire. Humorous, witty, and engagingly presented, The Corporate Circus is highly recommended reading which leaves a marked impression of business that combines the exotic with the all-too-real."

An MBA and former company executive, Adela finds humor in business and hopes her book and characters will help people deal with their demanding and stressful jobs with laughter and fun.

Smalley added, The licensing community's interest in the creative and uniquely innovative property is outstanding as 'The Corporate Circus is creating a buzz and is prepared to open new and untapped opportunity for licensed product that relates to the global business world."

Smalley added, The Corporate Circus products are fun and also therapeutic, inspirational, educational, and promote self-realization in the workplace, especially for workplace stress relief and role-playing sessions in the classroom."

The Corporate Circus is a fantasy soap opera look at the workplace, detailing the office drama and travails of 15 characters that Adela created by satirizing personality types prevalent in companies and work environments worldwide. "The property and book offer constructive fun and bring a positive perspective on office life that we hope will alleviate the tension people encounter at work," said Adela. The book is an intricate story adaptable for promotion and licensing opportunities including novelization, television, theatrical release and a broad array of product categories," added Polin.

As Adelas story goes, a dissatisfied and frustrated worker named Amy is caught up in a boring dead-end job. While attending a focus group to reduce job stress, she falls asleep and imagines an elaborate business fantasy world called The Corporate Circus." In her dream, her colleagues "morph" into The Corporate Circus characters and share their office experiences. The characters show her the fun in the everyday corporate life and ignite Amys imagination, brighten her workday and give her a new perspective on work and life.
