Independent Heroine Seeks Perfect Hero - 2004
Candidates must be:
Intelligent ~ Handsome ~ Witty ~ Charming
More than anything they must be willing to fight dastardly villains, slay dragons, and win battles single-handedly--all in the name of romance.
(PRWEB) February 23, 2004 --Would you or someone you know like the opportunity to please thousands of women all at once? Here is your chance. Echelon Press, a Memphis, TN based publisher, is pleased to announce its second annual search for the Perfect Hero.
With nearly 50% of Echelon's current and upcoming titles being in the romance genre, the search for a premier cover model is a natural progression of growth for the independent publisher.
Echelon Press is actively seeking men between the ages of 21 and 40 to consider for the covers of upcoming Echelon books. As an added bonus, Echelon will sponsor the Perfect Hero's entry into the RT BookClub Mr. Romance Cover Model Pageant 2005. The pageant will be held during the magazine's annual Booklovers Convention in St. Louis, MO in April 2005. The Perfect Hero will be featured on a romance cover that will debut at the convention.
Votes ($1.00 per vote) for the contestants will be cast via the Perfect Hero web page. The hero who receives the most votes will be awarded the title of the Perfect Hero 2004. The proceeds of the 2004 votes will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
In 2003 we found success with the debut of the Perfect Hero contest. Our winner, Evan Scott of Florida, went on to take 2nd Runner up in the Mr. Romance Cover Model Pageant. He also accepted the Contestant's Choice Award. He is currently negotiating several projects with a variety of publishers and organizations.
