Road Sign Company Selects ETO ERP Leader Encompix

Rocal, Inc. designs and manufactures Traffic Control Devices for around 30 States. From Colorado to Maine and down to Florida, Rocal produces a range of signs from the smaller STOP sign to the large green interstate signs.

Previously Rocal used a 15-year-old DOS-based system from a local software supplier. "We were looking to upgrade, but our current supplier went out of business. Besides our concerns over continuing support, the old system really only addressed the financial area. We needed a modern system to help manage inventory and production," said Norris Carpenter, controller.

Rocal selected Encompix because of its focus on project-based companies. "Each sign is somewhat unique. Different states have different specifications even for STOP signs. We are excited about using Encompix and firmly believe it will help us do a better job in servicing our customers," concluded Carpenter.
