har*GIS Announces Staff Expansion; New directors of sales and industry applications, director of project fulfillment support growth

har*GIS has added additional expertise to its staff to support its growth and serve its customers

Centennial, CO (PRWEB) February 24, 2004 --har*GIS LLC, provider of mobile Field Information Systems, today announced the expansion of its staff in support of the companys growth. har*GIS has added a new director of sales, as well as a director of industry applications, and expanded the role of a consulting partner.

As we continue to develop enhanced software offerings and provide solutions to a growing list of clients, it became critical to provide this added expertise to our customers," said Jim Hargis, president of har*GIS. The skills these experts add to our organization will help us continue our role as the leading Field Information Systems provider for utilities, municipalities, communication companies and transportation fleets."

Mark Vollinger is the companys new director of sales. He has extensive experience in the GIS industry, working on projects to support and improve the collection and use of geo-data by utility companies around the world. Mr. Vollinger worked at Intergraph Corporation in sales and implementation, as well as acting as utility software product manager, over a 12-year period. Most recently, he held client services director positions for Oracle Corporation and then Autodesk, Inc.

Ron Bereit is the companys new director of industry applications. He has more than 30 years of experience working in business and utility operations and the use of customer information and work flow management systems, as well as GIS and design tool applications, to solve business problems. He has done work for Smallworld, Navigant Consulting, Oracle Corporation, Deloitte & Touché, Severn Trent Systems, Logica, Indus International and others. His focus is on business process identification, and ensuring the excellence of the har*GIS product suite.

Consultant Harold Schuch is now acting as director of project fulfillment, and will manage all aspects of project fulfillment for har*GIS. His focus is on planning and implementation, and overseeing organization and quality control for system delivery. He will deliver har*GIS systems to customers, applying skills and using processes he developed during more than 30 years of work for utility companies worldwide.
