Riverside County Metro Daily Falls Short - U.S. Senate Candidate Danney Ball Left Out Of Press/Enterprise News Stories
Paper Continues "Big Lie" Advanced By Associated Press Hurting Candidates Chances In March 2 Primary.
(PRWEB) February 25, 2004 --A concerted effort by the Associated Press, The Press Enterprise, and other major media outlets in California has the Danney Ball Campaign California team shaking their heads.
Are the AP writers controlling this campaign from the Washington bureau?
"In spite of the fact that the Press/Enterprise continues to sandbag my campaign I am running for the U.S. Senate in 2004", said Danney Ball. "They may continue to try and make light of this grass-roots endeavor because of their stance that no conservative or Christian candidate should be in the race but we will not be intimidated by their biased policies", Ball continued.
Is it any wonder people would rather read the tabloids?
Danney Ball is a successful businessman, a performing songwriter, and a real estate investor who ran for Governor in 2002 and was defeated in the primary by Bill Simon. He now finds himself campaigning with another candidate who lost in that contest, Bill Jones.
Riverside County Has A Candidate Who Is Not Afraid Of The Liberal Media.
"We can't figure why the only newspaper covering Riverside County has denied us coverage", said Ball. "The newspaper sent a reporter to interview me and a photographer to take shots at a local Hemet republican club but never ran the photos and only ran a small portion of the story in the Hemet edition. We feel that The Press/Enterprise has thus deprived it's readers in all of the rest it's Riverside county editions access to information about our campaign." Ball continued.
This campaign will bring attention to the horrible lies of the media.
Campaign California has sent weekly email updates, op-editorials by Danney Ball, letters-to-the-editor, as well as press releases faxed on a regular basis, none of which have been printed in The Press/Enterprise.
All of our efforts for the people of California fall on deaf ears.
"None of my phone calls have been returned and requests to present my candidacy for a possible endorsement by the newspaper were obviously placed in the circular file". said Ball. "They continue to pick up photos and stories from the Associated Press naming the other active candidates and leaving my name out. This is not the kind of journalism the people of Riverside County should be demanding. What the editors are hiding is anyones guess." Ball continued.
