The Mineola-based law firm, Forchelli, Curto, Schwartz, Mineo, Carlino & Cohn, LLP (FCSMC&C), has named Gary M. Kushner a partner of the firm that was founded in 1976.
Kushner, a resident of Merrick, NY, who was in private practice before joining FCSMC&C in January of this year, will concentrate his practice on insolvency and bankruptcy matters.

Kushner earned his J.D. at California Western School of Law and B.S. with honors in political science from Syracuse University. Prior to opening his own practice, he was a senior partner of Sachs Kamhi & Kushner, P.C. His bankruptcy and litigation experience includes representing various creditor interests in Trans World Airlines, Parklane Hosiery, Foxmoor Specialty Stores, Montgomery Wards, K-Mart, Island Mortgage, and the Zale's, chapter 11 cases, as well as representing numerous corporate debtors who operate in the Metropolitan New York area.
