Jazz Trumpeter Rob Walker Releases "Cat In The Alley" CD
New CD to play in 35 radio markets
(PRWEB) February 25, 2004 --Jazz Trumpeter/Composer, Rob Walker, releases his new CD "Cat In The Alley" March 1, 2004. The new CD explores the trumpeter's mellow side. "This music is reminicient of the earlier Miles Davis recordings where the music was more important the virtuousity", explains Walker. The music was penned within a 48 hour period and brings to mind the West Coast jazz movement of the late 50's.
Once again, Walker surrounds himself with the best talent. Origin recording artist, Brent Jensen (www.brentjensenjazz.com) appears on Alto Sax. Brent is one of the best Alto players in the world and seemlessly shares riffs with the leader Walker. The rhythm section is lead by Paul Anka's former Music Director, Chuck Smith.
Walker has appeared with such acts as Natalie Cole, The Supremes, The Temptations, The Moody Blues, and Ray Charles. He appeared at the 2002 Park City Jazz Festival and in Mexico with David "Fathead" Newman.
The CD is scheduled to be in rotation on JazzWorks, a nationally syndicated jazz show that reaches 35 markets.
Autographed copies of the new CD can be secured by emailing Allegro Enterprises at allegrojazz@cableone.net.
