Ubermind Launches Exclusive IT Training

(PRWEB) February 26, 2004 --Übermind, Inc., a technology-based professional services firm that develops custom enterprise applications, has launched a new training program that includes WebObjects curriculum, the only such training available on the west coast. The new program was created to enhance internal management of complex IT systems.

Initial workshop offerings focus on WebObjects, a high-end, flexible application development platform. According to Übermind president Brian Hayes, WebObjects instruction on the west coast is limited to the program the company has developed. One of our competitors in New York called us recently asking to buy the curriculum materials we created for the workshop," said Hayes. The five-day class is designed to enable students to write a fully functional WebObjects application by the end of the course.

Enterprise IT systems that are not developed for easy maintenance by internal staff often result in higher operating costs. Überminds training program provides mid-sized to large companies with an alternative to outsourcing system upkeep responsibilities.

Companies run into problems when their enterprise systems are built with very sophisticated, object oriented programming tools that the internal IT staff is not equipped to manage," said Hayes. Our training program teaches basic to advanced skills that
enable the company to maintain highly efficient, scalable systems, while adapting the existing technology to fit changing or emerging business needs."

A pilot training program was conducted in November 2003 following Überminds completion of on-site training for U.S. Investigative Services, a Montana firm. Clark Jackson, a principal engineer for Tacoma Power, attended the pilot workshop. Said Jackson, Our instructor was very knowledgeable about WebObjects, and the hands-on format was particularly effective. Everything we learned we put into practice right there during the workshop."

Überminds next training workshop is scheduled for April 5-9. Cost for the five-day course is $1,995, and registration information is available at www.ubermind.com.
