Abrazo Health Care sponsors First Annual Spring Baby Expo at the NEW America West Arena Paseo, Phoenix, Arizona!

Arizona's First Annual Spring Baby Expo will be held on March 20, 2004. Admission is free!

Abrazo Health Care (formerly Vanguard Health Systems) is not only changing their look and their name but they are letting the community know that they embrace the needs of the community by sponsoring the First Annual Spring Baby Expo at the new America West Arena Paseo.

The Paseo will deliver the First Annual Spring Baby Expo. We are proud to welcome the Spring Baby Expo to the Paseo at America West Arena. The Spring Baby Expo will be the inaugural event at the Paseo, Arizonas newest and most exciting venue," stated Ralph Marchetta, Vice President of Entertainment for the America West Arena. The Paseo is located on the east side of the arena and offers a 50 ft. by 400 ft. overhead canopy that serves as a projection surface and includes a performance stage. Over $1 million in audio and video technology was invested into this venue. It is just what the doctor ordered for the Spring Baby Expo.

With Spring around the corner and babies ready to bloom, The Spring Baby Expo is an excellent place to gather information about healthy baby topics while enjoying a fun and entertaining day outside in the spring with your family.

The Arizona Republic, La Voz and Southwest Airlines will present the Spring Baby Expo. Families can enter to win an all expense paid trip to Sea World courtesy of Southwest Airlines!

The Arizona Department of Health Services will be at the Spring Baby Expo providing information on steps to take to keep women, infants and children healthy. They reported 58,863 births in Maricopa County for 2003. With that many births, an event to promote healthy babies is essential.

Abrazo Health Care includes Arrowhead Hospital, Maryvale Hospital, Phoenix Memorial Hospital, Paradise Valley Hospital, Phoenix Baptist Hospital and West Valley Hospital. They will be providing an Ask The Doctor" booth where trained experts and physicians will be available to answer questions. They will offer information on topics such as child proofing your home, prenatal care, breast-feeding, exercise and becoming a dad. Abrazo Health Care is embracing the needs of the community valley wide.

Families can enjoy the first day of Spring at the new AWA Paseo listening to live entertainment, participate in baby contests, take Easter photos, play in the childrens area, receive free massages and take home memorable items. Several of the exhibitors include Babies R" Us, Wal-Mart, The Arizona Department of Health Services, Sears Portrait Studio, The Phoenix Zoo, Wells Fargo, Curves, Stress Knot Massage, Robeks and many others.

The event is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on March 20, 2004.
