(PRWEB) February 26, 2004 --Independent record label, Mob Life Records, has released Tha Life That We Live, the first single off Cablez upcoming album, Tha Movement. The track features Napoleon, Muszamil and Nzingha Shakur. The track was produced by Mob Life's producer Hella Tight.
The limited edition single starts off with Mutulu Shakur speaking about the fight to free the land, "the clan, the police, the FBI told us the only land we was going to get would be 6 feet under".
In an interview with a local newspaper, Mob Life CEO spoke about Dr. Shakur's appearance, "having Mutulu Shakur appear on the album was a blessing, he's got so much knowledge and a real powerful message that needs to be heard, he's real deep."
Tha Life That We Live is not your typical rap song about money, cars and jewelry. "Tha Movement has a little of everything, we just thought people needed to hear a positive song like Tha Life That We Live with everything that is going on, so that's why we made it the single."
Cablez starts off by asking, "how the **** you gon' suffer when you never felt pain, a n**** like me been through everything, I don' heard it I don' see it still I try to maintain".
Former Outlaw, Napoleon spits some game to the youth, "keep your mind on your money and enroll in school, cause a dummy can't get rich man knowledge is powerful".
Napoleon's younger brother Muszamil (formely known as Hellraza) holds nothing back as he exposes the corruption found in every community in America, "f*** police couldn't help my problem or change it, they commit more sins than the drug dealers".
