Government Marketing Best Practices visits Five Cities in Third "Road Show"

The most popular seminar for marketing to the government returns to the 'road" for a five city tour in April, 2004. The Amtower & Company event will visit Vienna, Virginia, Denver, Chicago, San Jose and San Antonio.

Highland, MD (PRWEB) February 26, 2004 --Amtower & Company, a leading marketing advisory firm for companies targeting Federal government business, today announced their popular "Government Marketing Best Practices" seminar will be offered in 5 cities during the spring of 2004. The half-day seminar has attracted over 800 attendees since the first session in 2002.

The seminar is designed to help companies break down and understand the complex world of federal purchasing and how federal buyers are influenced. In addition, the information-intensive half-day program discusses how to develop a mix of tactics that suit a company's products or services while delivering within budget constraints.

"Interest in the government market has never been higher," said Mark Amtower, founder of Amtower & Company and seminar leader. "While other segments of the economy are suffering, Fortune One (Uncle Sam) continues to grow and attract even more participants. However, this market is indeed different than the commercial sector and there is a need for companies to enter the market intelligently, with their eyes opened."

As a 22-year veteran of Federal government marketing, Amtower, has helped hundreds of     companies make money in the federal market. Amtower cited growing demand for this seminar as a driving force behind the third road show".

"We've seen a growing demand for the type of seminar that goes beyond the generic budget overviews and sales pitches, which are usually the only 'briefings' to make it out of the D.C. area," commented Amtower. "We've had hundreds of queries through our web site about the previous road shows, and inquiries about when we will be on the road again. And there are many previous attenders looking forward to attending the next version of this ever-evolving seminar."

Seminar cities on the Spring 2004 Road Show include Chicago, Denver, San Antonio, San Jose, and Vienna, Virginia.

Several organizations are sponsoring the seminar. They include Carroll Publishing, DM News, Federal Business Council, Federal Computer Week, Government Security News, MeritDirect and the Public Sector Institute. Each sponsor offers excellent complementary services to the government marketing community.

Each seminar is conducted by Mark Amtower, a 22-year Federal government marketing veteran who has personally consulted with hundreds of executives on all aspects of the government market. Among these are executives from Fortune 100 companies as well as start-ups, and everything in between.

Complete information on the seminar, including dates, venues, costs, and registration information can be found at http://www.federaldirect.net/bestpractices2004.html
