The Alzheimers Association, National Capital Area Announces Car Donation Program

Donating a used car gives tax payer a break, while supporting the community

Fairfax, VA (PRWEB) February 27, 2004 --- The Alzheimers Association, National Capital Area can now accept used car donations through its partner cars4charities to help raise much needed funds. Through their numerous programs and services, the Alzheimer's Association, National Capital Area provides help and hope to the over 460,000 individuals in Northern Virginia, Suburban Maryland and Washington, DC who are facing the daily challenges of Alzheimer's.

By donating used cars, trucks, vans or SUVs, donors become eligible for a federal tax deduction. cars4charities sells the donated vehicles and sends the entire net proceeds to the Alzheimers Association to help fund their programs.

To participate, donors simply call cars4charities at 1-866-448-3487 or log onto their website www.cars4charities.org , and they will have the vehicles towed away, free of charge. Donors will receive all the necessary paperwork to claim their tax deduction for the fair market value of the vehicle.
