Fioravanti to Exhibit at Gallery 30 for 7th Annual History Meets the Arts

This news release helps to promote the annual art exhibition in Gettysburg, PA. This exhibition not only promotes the town of Gettysburg and art culture, but it also serves to make people aware of the heritage of our nation, and the threats encountered each day by the lands upon which history was made.

Gettysburg, PA (PRWEB) February 27, 2004 -- Gallery 30, is pleased to announce that it will feature the original artwork, Giclee prints and note cards of historical landscape / preservation artist Jeff Fioravanti during the 7th Annual, History Meets the Arts Exhibition, April 16-18, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Included in this exhibition will be an artist reception, which will be hosted by the gallery at its location at 30 York Street, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, April 17th, from 6:00 -- 8:00 PM.

Gallery 30 has enjoyed a successful and longstanding relationship with History Meets the Arts, having participated in each exhibition since it's inception seven years ago. History Meets the Arts is held each April and boasts some of the finest practicing historical artists, craftsmen, sculptors and artisans of today. This is the second consecutive year that Gallery 30 has featured the work of Mr. Fioravanti, who is a nationally recognized and award winning pastel artist, and who is rapidly gaining a following in the historical art genre.

"His work has received and continues to receive high praise from our visitors and clientele, both local and national," noted gallery owner Lois Starkey.

"We are extremely pleased to have Jeff with us again for History Meets the Arts 2004," added gallery manager Meghan Riordan. "Watching his work progress, and building upon the success of our 2003 exhibition, we are very confident that 2004 will do just as well, and we are already looking forward to continuing this relationship for HMTA 2005 and beyond" continued Meghan.

"I believe what makes Jeff's work so appealing, especially to our local clientele is that, not only is his work of the highest quality, but he works very hard with local preservation organizations to give something back to the community," commented Ms. Starkey. "That is very endearing."

Fioravanti is a strong advocate of preservation. He has often donated his talents to aid the missions of national, as well as local preservation groups including the likes of, the Land Conservancy of Adams County and the Gettysburg Battlefield Preservation Association.
