Attorney Jermaine A. Wyrick Recognized by United States Attorneys Office for Black History Month
DETROIT, MI (PRWEB) February 29, 2004 --The Law Offices of Jermaine A. Wyrick P.L.L.C. is pleased to announce that on February 26, 2004, the United States Attorney, for the Eastern District of Michigan, Honorable Jeffrey G. Collins recognized Attorney Jermaine A. Wyrick as part of a Black History Month Celebration for achievements in the areas of Civil Rights and Education.
Attorney Wyrick has served as a volunteer for Project Sentry, an effort to reduce gun violence. Project Sentry conducts three-day workshops for middle school youth on the dangers of guns and violence. The program is designed to educate students about the medical, legal, emotional, and societal consequences of gun violence. The program is unique in that it is taught by students, medical doctors and nurses, lawyers, law enforcement, and other social service groups.
