Andy's book, published by Random House is a chronicle of Andy's battle with manic depression and his experience with medications and electroshock therapy. For years andy experienced euphoric highs and desperate lows - - and was at the mercy of his impulses. He lived life on the edge and in darkness. He was misdiagnosed by more than eight doctors and even when finally diagnosed with this chronic illness, he was unsuccessful on any reigment of medication and opted for the last resort: electroshock therapy. Today, andy lives with his wife in los angeles and works as a writer.
