Ft. Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) March 1, 2004 --The founder of two-month-old greeting card company, Afraid To Say It, was profiled on the Female Entrepreneur Radio Program on World Talk Radio this week.
Angela Connor participated in a 30-minute live discussion with Female Entrepreneur Magazine editor and show host Keli Swenson about the companys early success and the challenges that come with starting a new business.
It was such an honor to be on the air with the editor of a magazine that Ive read for a long time and more importantly to have an opportunity to tell my story and encourage other women to follow their entrepreneurial dreams," said Ms. Connor.
The host of the program commended Angela on the concept of Afraid To Say It greeting cards and even shared one of her favorite cards live on the air.
Ms. Connor talked about the importance of following-up with potential customers and how doing just that landed the company its first sale. Follow up is crucial," she told listeners. A friend once told me that if youre not told the word 'no at least six times a day, youre not asking for enough."
When asked about the companys next move, Ms. Connor spoke excitedly about preparing for the National Stationery Show in May, which will be the companys very first trade show.
