Kevin Smith Show Discusses Darbys Darwin Debate

Darwin may be dead, but the debate over his theory of natural selection is alive and kicking in Darby, Montana where the fires of controversy were ignited in December when a local Baptist minister presented his case for creation.

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) March 2, 2004 --Darby, Montana sizzles with debate and Kevin Smith, host of an international talk show broadcast via internet radio, has taken notice. Darbys citizens have become embroiled in a heated contest over the cosmic question of origins. Sparked by a local ministers public presentation of what he believes is evidence supporting the creation theory, and his call for the school board to change its policy in order to allow the teaching of creation, the 754 citizens of Darby have been catapulted into the spotlight of national news.

The talk show has a non-political and non-religious format focused primarily on alternative news. That is precisely why I am interested in the Darby debate," says host, Kevin Smith. Smith says that the Darby debate brings up very important issues, but it also points out that the debaters believe there are only two possible theories-Darwins or the churchs. The fact is, no one was around to watch the origin of everything, so no one really knows for certain how it happened."

The show will be broadcast on March 3, 2004 via www.kevinsmithshow.com, a free access web site. Listeners have a choice of using RealPlayer or Windows MediaPlayer to listen to the show. Since the show is pre-recorded, it is available online for 24 hours. People can listen when it is convenient for them to listen, says Smith.
