Icel has been in the apparel business since September 1998 when she launched her own clothing company in New York City taking the name of ID ICEL "Identify Yourself". This logo was aimed to work with a product that portrayed the provocative and innovative image and style of women. She exposed her imaginative talents at many trade shows throughout the United States, acquired accounts overseas, and one of her exclusive designs was featured on the front cover of IMAGEN Magazine by L'Oreal's 1999 Model of the Year. On November 21, 2003 ICEL I.D.
"Identification of Style" emerged. Her first Spring 2004 collection aptly named "Danu Karma" (unknown destiny) was presented in a fashion extravaganza at the Remy Lounge in New York City, causing sensation among many fashionistas.
