Gotham City Improvs Holy Crap!, One Hour of Improvised Religious Irreverence, Opens March 6th, 2004 for a Six Week Run!

From the makers of Burn Manhattan and Centralia comes Holy Crap! - an hour-long, completely improvised, long form show inspired by Americas favorite, political hot potato -- Religion. The show premiers at Gotham City Improv (158 West 23rd Street, 2nd floor, New York City) on March 6, 2004 and runs Saturdays at 10pm through April 10th. New York, NY (PRWEB) March 4, 2004 --Conceived by the creator of Funky Monkeys and Directed by Matt Higgins, Second City Alumni, co-creator of Centralia, and Burn Manhattan. These two have created a highly original show filled with wildly physical comedic improvisers. Taking the word from the audience, these six talented improvisers spin a web of comedic scenes and characters that will leave you laughing all night. They create the kind of organic scene work that has become a trademark of Burn Manhattan and Centralia. Holy Crap! is a departure from traditional theater sports" or even the often used Harold" format of long-form improvisation. In the show, the players attempt completely improvised exploration of Karmic destiny through transformative scene-work and strong characters. Each night is sure to be different yet these improvisers from Gotham City Improv, UCB, The PIT and various other acting schools are sure to take you on a wild ride every time.
