Language Dubbing & Subtitling Technology Revolutionized by TM SYSTEMS and Showcased at Upcoming NAB

Before TM SYSTEMS, language versioning of feature films and television programming was typically time consuming, costly, subject to piracy, occasionally lost in customs, inefficient, inconsistent, etc. With TM SYSTEMS, all of the above concerns have been dramatically reduced.

LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) March 4, 2004 -- Before TM SYSTEMS, language versioning of feature films and television programming was typically time consuming, costly, subject to piracy, occasionally lost in customs, inefficient, inconsistent, etc. With the introduction of TM SYSTEMS, the industrys only fully integrated, digital language translation, dubbing and subtitling software, all of the above problems and concerns have been dramatically reduced. In addition, the TM SYSTEMS process does away with the need for video and videotape, shipping of any kind, and inconsistency in dubbed and subtitled versions.

With TM, casting sessions can be done in territory and then instantly reviewed at home or in the office, over the Internet. The entire process is digital, eliminating the need for videotape altogether. Tremendous savings are realized by doing away with tape duplication and shipping costs. Time codes are automatically inserted, as are character names, for assurance of consistency of multiple language versions, and in both dubbed or subtitled formats. Users claim a time savings of nearly 40% over traditional dubbing and subtitling processes.

TM SYSTEMS was honored by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for changing the face of the industry forever", and received the Emmy for Technical Achievement for the development of the industrys first fully integrated, digital language translation, dubbing and subtitling software.

Since its introduction to the market nearly three years ago, TM SYSTEMS remains the ONLY" fully integrated system in the industry.

The company reports that there have been nearly 200 upgrades to the system, including full video screen viewing capability and encryption watermarks, for added security in sending files over the Internet. A closed captioning module has also been integrated into the system, allowing a turn-key" solution for all translation, dubbing and subtitling needs.

TM SYSTEMS offers networks and studios, as well as translation, dubbing and subtitling houses, opportunities to integrate a fully digitized localization system into their operations, and customizes systems based on specific requirements. The system works with any language and any character set.

TM SYSTEMS will be exhibiting its unique system at the upcoming NAB Exhibition and Convention, in Las Vegas, April 19-22, Booth No.SU7819, in the South Hall. For detailed information or to schedule a meeting time please call Deeny Kaplan, Exec. VP, at 818-508-3400, or contact info@tm-systems.com.
