A group called "Vote in 2004" made up of concerned citizens across the country named Rod Royce from KCLA Radio as there official figure in there national campaign to raise voter awareness.
Rod Royce is named spokesman for new group called "Vote in 2004" and he will begin shooting pictures for the campaign as soon as next week. The group has called on companies throughout the country to donate services to better educate American's on the need to vote.
(PRWEB) March 4, 2004 --The Southern California based group was boisterous as Rod Royce approached the podium to announce his exceptance as the celebrity spokesman in this election year crusade to educate America and to rally them to the polls in 2004. Mr. Royce stated "We are not focusing on any particular party affiliation and our goal is to get a 75% turn out this november" He went on to add "I give my word to focus my efforts to do all I can to see this goal is met". The group's leader Mona Mackie said that they have thousands of Volunteers throughout most major cities who have dedicated there time to registering voters and will drive them to the polls if needed. Mrs. Mackie says that by mid July that everyone will know our purpose and come November we will make history. "We believe all Americans should use this privelidge and that the last election in 2004 was decided within 500,000 votes.
The Groups efforts will continue with internet, news papers, magazines, bill boards and television advertising ads featuring Hollywood DJ Rod Royce from KCLA 99 FM. The pictures will be taken by a variety of well known photographers and with a very modern approach.
