MINEOLA, NY (PRWEB) March 5, 2004 -- Attorney Nicole Blanda Gill has joined the Mineola-based law firm, Forchelli, Curto, Schwartz, Mineo, Carlino & Cohn, LLP (FCSMC&C), as Associate. A resident of Hauppauge, NY, Gill returns to FCSMC&C where she worked as a law clerk while attending law school.
"At FCSMC&C we like to think we raised an attorney," noted FCSMC&C Managing Partner Jeffrey D. Forchelli. But the reality is that Nicole showed talent for the law and through her own energies completed law school while working full time. It is a pleasure to welcome her back to the firm."
Gill obtained her J.D. at Fordham University School of Law in 2003, where she received a legal writing award. She earned her B.S. in psychology and social work from New York University, summa cum laude. She was admitted to the New York Bar in January of this year.
FCSMC&C has been more than a training ground for me," notes Gill. It has also been a support system. And my experience there has been a motivating factor in selecting land use and zoning as my area of concentration. Its good to be back."
In her new capacity, Gill will represent residential and commercial developers, as well as municipalities in land use issues and litigation. During her studies at Fordham University School of Law, Gill interned for Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Karla Moskowii and clerked at Lazer, Aptheher, Rosella & Yedid, P.C.
