(PRWEB) March 7, 2004 --Today marks the one year anniversary of the establishment of BioWa, Inc, a revolutionary antibody company based in Princeton, New Jersey. BioWa, Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kyowa Hakko Kogyo Co, Ltd, in Japan (www.kyowa.com), was created to commercially develop Kyowas proprietary "Potelligent" ADCC antibody enhancement technology and to develop Kyowas own antibody business outside of Japan.

BioWa will act as a conduit for co-development/co-marketing alliances and licensing deals for Kyowa Hakko Kogyos antibody projects.

Dr. Nobuo Hanai, CEO & President of BioWa, commented, The establishment of BioWa is key to the future success of Kyowa Hakko Kogyos long term growth strategy.
