ABBAFest 2004 in association with Southern and Capital Gold visits Brighton on 11th, 12th and 13th June 2004!

On Saturday April 6th, 1974 in the English coastal town of Brighton, a group known in Sweden, but not to the rest of the world won the Eurovision Song Contest at Brighton Dome with a song called 'Waterloo and launched their international careers. On 11th, 12th and 13th June 2004 in the now very cosmopolitan city of Brighton and Hove, Walk of Fame Gold is proud to recreate this phenomenal experience at ABBAFest 2004.

30 years after the seventies supergroups now legendary performance at Brighton Dome, Walk of Fame Gold will be bringing ABBA mania back home. The events line-up includes:

Friday 11th June, Concert Hall, Brighton Dome, 7.30pm
The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra under the direction of Louis Clark presents 'ABBA The Symphony.

ABBAFest 2004 Record/CD and Memorabilia Fair

Saturday 12th June, Brighton Centre, 10am-4pm

The Official International Agnetha, Benny, Bjorn, Frida Fan Club Convention.

The event will attract dedicated ABBA fans from around the world and is only open to members of the official International Agnetha, Benny, Bjorn and Frida Fan Club (website http://abba.muziek.net). Guest ABBA keynote speakers will be flying over from Sweden and include Owe Sandstrom, ABBAs costume designer who will be bringing over the original Waterloo costumes which will be on display at the event. Also in attendance will be Carl Magnus Palm who is recognised as the worlds foremost ABBA historian.

Brighton Marinas only Outlet shopping destination will host of activities for all ages, including childrens entertainment, talent competition, karaoke competitions and live music. Combining the best in entertainment, famous brand shopping and leisure, the FREE event will crown the ABBAFest tour.
